What is Venturing?
- Venturing is the young adult program of the Boy Scouts of America for men and women of 14 to 20 years of age.
- In Venturing you join with other teenagers in planning and operating your Venture Crew with guidance from adult advisors.
Why become a venturer?
- As a Venturer you will learn important skills like team-building, public speaking and interviewing. You also will learn to organize your time to accomplish tasks for school and for extracurricular activities.
- In Venturing you will get a unique opportunity to experience a wide variety of High Adventure activities such as backpacking, hiking, spelunking, cycling/mountain biking, fishing, rock climbing, rappelling, shooting sports, canoeing, water skiing, kayaking, snow skiing, and camping.
